R.I.P. T Model Ford
James Lewis Carter "T Model" Ford 1920s-7/16/13
I had been wanting to see and hear T Model Ford for years, and finally got my chance last October in Clarksdale MS, at the 2nd Street Blues Party in front of the Rock N' Blues Museum. He wasn't feeling really well but he talked to fans, signed autographs and got up and played some Blues with a bunch of different people, including his granddaughter (on drums). What at treat. Thank you for your Blues Mr. Ford. I'll never forget it. Here are a few pictures from that special day.
